Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of houzey (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

houzey provides property search tools and neighbourhood information for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to misuse it.

You specifically agree not to:

• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Service without our written permission.
• Use the Service to violate any applicable law or third-party right.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use listing data for any commercial purpose, including building a competing dataset.

Listing, location, and demographic data is provided by third parties through the Neighbourly platform and underlying MLS systems. While we strive for accuracy, this information is deemed reliable but is not guaranteed. Listings may be out of date, contain errors, or be withdrawn at any time.

houzey is a search and information service. We are not a party to any real-estate transaction, do not act as your agent, and do not provide legal, financial, or real-estate advice. Always verify details with a licensed professional before making decisions.

The Service — including its design, branding, text, and software — is owned by houzey or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent. Third-party data remains the property of its respective owners.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices, and including a link does not imply endorsement.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, houzey and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless houzey, its affiliates, and their respective officers and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

We may modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms; when we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario for any dispute arising from these Terms.
